About Me

I have been involved in radio since I was 16, I started my passion for radio at Hospital Radio Crawley this is where I learnt to present and use a desk.
From there I was hungry to achieve more and so I moved to an online radio station where I created an identity for a show, with jingles, idents, and personality.
Then, there was no stopping me. I moved from online to community radio. This is where I picked up interview skills and creating a structured show.
Deciding that I want a career in radio, I have jumped into University. I have now graduated from the University of Westminster where I studied Radio Production and Digital Media. I have improved my audio editing skills, using Adobe Audition and Sadie. as well as audio editing I have improved my video editing and using Premiere Pro. I have also gained valuable skills in teamwork, interview techniques and networking.
Modules I have taken include; individual audio project, pop up Station, producing audio drama, sports journalism, digital storytelling, music and talk radio, audio lab, digital lab, bulletin and blogs.
Through my experience at university, I did a weeks work experience at TalkRADIO working on the Jon Holmes show, during my time there I helped set up the show, booking guest, editing audio, doing recaps, looking after the studio guests and making the tea and coffee. From this work experience, I gained employment through the work experience and still employed by the wireless group as a technical operator, outputting the shows audio on the weekend and cover shifts for both TalkRADIO and TalkSPORT.
My main goal is to move forward with my presenting and host my own show on local or national radio. However, I am willing to look at production work and working within another role in radio
My interests include sports which include ice hockey, football, golf, tennis and horse racing. I also enjoy watching TV, and Films (I love Netflix and Amazon Prime), computer games and radio.
